Capacity is not enough. A useful brief clarifies flow, weather backup, timing, accessibility and services before comparing very different venues.

A venue is a logistics decision before it is an aesthetic one
Images help you imagine the day, but operational constraints determine whether a place truly works. Two venues at the same headline price can include very different services and risks.
The nine answers to write down
- Realistic number of adults and children.
- Season, weekday and flexibility around the date.
- On-site ceremony or transfer from another location.
- Indoor dinner, outdoor dinner, or both options.
- A weather backup with comparable quality for rain, wind or heat.
- Music curfew and event finish time.
- On-site rooms and distance from the main hotels.
- Accessibility for older guests, children and people with reduced mobility.
- Included services: furniture, kitchen, cleaning, security, power and coordination.
Compare the real total
Always ask for a quote that identifies included, excluded and mandatory items. A venue total only makes sense alongside the costs it creates: transfers, rentals, structures, generators, staffing and accommodation.
The question that reveals the real weather plan
Do not only ask whether a covered space exists. Ask how the entire day changes in poor weather: ceremony, aperitivo, dinner, music, photography and guest movement.
